The Six Numbers You Check Every Morning, on One Page

Cash, who owes you, whether backups ran, who signed in from where, what calls got missed. Pulled overnight from your own systems onto one private page that works on your phone.

TechFort builds owner's dashboards: a private, phone-ready business dashboard that pulls a small business's key numbers overnight from QuickBooks, Microsoft 365, security and backup tools and the phone system, explains each one in plain English, and shows a 30-day trend. Typical build $2,500 plus $149 a month, no per-user fees.

Running today for TechFort's owner.

The problem it solves

Every small business owner has five or six numbers they check before the day starts: what is in the bank, who has not paid, whether the backups ran, whether anyone signed in from somewhere strange, how many calls got missed. Today those live in five or six logins, QuickBooks, Microsoft 365, the backup console, the phone portal, and most mornings the check gets skipped.

What we build

One private business dashboard, built for your phone and your desk, that pulls those numbers overnight from the systems you already run and shows them on a single screen. A headline that tells you in plain words whether the business is fine today. Tiles for cash, receivables, patching, backups, sign-ins and calls, each with a small trend line and a note on what changed. Charts you can hover. A short list of what was handled while you slept. Every number has a small "i" beside it that says what it means and which way is good.

Owner's dashboard built by TechFort: vitals tiles with trend lines and plain-English notes on a dark glass page
The first one, running today: each tile carries the number, the change against the last seven days, a trend line, and what it means.

It reads from QuickBooks Online, Microsoft 365, our security and backup tools, your phone system and your cameras. Nothing is typed in by hand, and nothing is stored outside accounts you own.

Running today

The first one runs for TechFort's own owner. It pulls nightly from a wearable health ring, scores the night, and explains every number in plain English, with a sync button and a 30-day history. The same engine behind it is what we point at a business: swap the ring for the books, the ticket queue and the sign-in log, and the page is yours. It is a KPI dashboard for a small business, without the enterprise software or the per-seat licence.

What goes on it

You pick the handful that matter. The usual starting set is cash in bank and open invoices from QuickBooks, devices patched and open alerts from your security tools, last good backup per machine, odd-country sign-ins and MFA coverage from Microsoft 365, missed calls from your phones, and camera or door status if you have them. Each client's page is different because each owner watches different things.

What it costs

A typical owner's dashboard is a $2,500 build plus $149 a month to host, secure and keep connected, with no per-user fees. You get a fixed quote before anything starts, and the first version is usually on your phone within two weeks.

Straight answers

Common Questions

Who can see it?

Only the people you name. The page sits behind a real sign-in on our network, and anything that triggers an action, such as pulling fresh numbers, asks for a PIN as well. We can also keep a read-only version open for a trusted bookkeeper or partner.

Does it replace QuickBooks or our other tools?

No. It reads from them and shows you the answer. You still do the work in the tools you have. If a number looks wrong, the tile links you straight to the source.

How fresh are the numbers?

They refresh overnight, and a Sync now button pulls the latest on demand. Most owners want the morning picture, not a live ticker, and the nightly pull keeps the cost flat.

Can it email or text me instead?

Yes. The same data can land in a short morning email or a text when something crosses a line you set, such as cash under a number or a backup that did not run.

What is a business dashboard, in plain terms?

A single page that shows the few numbers that tell you how the business is doing, pulled automatically from the systems that hold them, so you do not open five logins to find out. Ours is private, phone-ready, and explains every number.

What are your six numbers?
